Rubber’s nonlinear elasticity reflects the persistence of memory of its undeformed shape. Of course, rubber compounds in the real world have a “fading” memory, which leads to time-dependent creep, stress-relaxation and inelasticity. This session demonstrates best-practice approaches to addressing inelasticity within the existing Endurica characterization and simulation workflows.
